• You may have a Celtic patern or design that you found somewhere and you want to use it in a band.   You may have certain symbols that you want to represent your life together.   Scan, scribble, or describe and we will come up with something to show you with a rendered picture of it.

• Take a look at our examples on our site and stop in the store and we can design your rings together. 

Each Option consists of 3 basic steps (some projects take more steps due to any changes you want done after you see the drawings) :

• Step One: stop in, email or call us with any questions about a design and we will respond with answers and a rough price quote.
• Step Two: we show or send you a rendered drawing of the idea you want to explore with a firm price quote.  We can work up a drawing for you in about one week.  There is no charge for this part of the design process.
• Step Three: after you agree to the design and want to continue with the project, we require a deposit of half of the total cost.  We then cast and finish your rings.  If you do not live in the area and would like to approve the wax model before we cast it, we can ship it to you through Fed Ex and just bill you for the shipping.

To Place An Order:

Please phone, e-mail, or mail us to place an order. We need the following information:

• Which item you are interested in
• Which metal(s) (i.e. 14kt, 18kt, yellow gold, white gold, platinum etc...)
• Which stone(s) and/or inlays
• Your finger size
• If you are ordering for a special occasion, let us know the date you would like it by. We will let you know whether we can meet the date.
• Name
• Mailing address
• Phone and/or e-mail

We accept Visa, MasterCard and personal checks or money orders. A 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering with the remainder due when your order is ready to ship. Shipping and insurance charges are $15-20. We generally ship via Fed Ex  unless otherwise instructed.

"Inside the Box"

The custom work process takes approximately  2-3 weeks, assuming everything is done in a timely manner. A consultation of up to 1 hour to determine what you're interested in, your budget, etc., and a set of sketches/models (including fine tuning where necessary) is free of charge. Additional time, models, etc. is charged at an hourly rate of $75 and shipping. Once you have approved of the sketch/model and estimate, we ask for a 50% down payment to put your order on our production list .  The remaining 50% is due before delivery.

***What happens if when you get your custom ring you are not satisfied? This is an extremely rare occurrence; However, notify us of the problem within 14 days of receipt.

·We want you to be happy and will do what we can to rework the ring to your satisfaction.

·Or-  We will exchange your custom ring for one of our portfolio designs of equal value.

·Or-  Assuming no answer can be found, we will start from scratch to make you a new ring of equal or greater value of your full payment.

When your ring is finished and "Inside The Box" we consider you a part of the Out Of Solitude family.  We give you a cleaning cloth and teach you how to keep your ring clean and looking it's best.  When you are in the area we want you to stop by the store and let us polish out any deep scratches, tighten any loose stones, and give it a good look-over free of charge.  If you need it sized we offer a free one time sizing (Some sizing can cost $75 and up) .  We want to take care of our work so when people ask where you got your beautiful ring, you can smile and say "We had it designed at Out Of Solitude and are very happy with it and their service!".

We understand that this is a lot of information to consider, and we've tried to cover all possible bases. Try not to let it overwhelm you.  Custom-designed rings have a story behind them.  Each ring we create is different, so you'll have a 'one-of-a-kind'.  The same is true for the creation process, so all of the aforementioned information is only a guide.  We will work with you to solve your jewelry problems and needs.
